NATO Ranger Fire Lighting Flint

The NATO Ranger Fire Lighting Flint is currently in use in the UK by the Royal Air Force and SAS. You will not find a more dependable and effective flint fire starter than the NATO Approved BCB Ranger Fire Flint.

This flint and steel fire starter is extremely compact and is designed to pack into the smallest survival kit. Scraping the flint of the Ranger Firelighting Flint produces a shower of sparks suitable for lighting tinder. The flint is designed for years of use and the striker can be used as a small knife and saw. This flint and steel survival fire starter is standard issue in British Armed Forces survival kits.

All BCB Flint Fire Starters are specially impregnated with magnesium to produce hotter, larger sparks. The BCB Ranger Firelighting Flint is GSA Approved.

As with all Flint and Steel Fire Starters, be sure to practice with the BCB Ranger Firelighting Flint prior to actually having to use it in a survival fire starter capacity.
